オープンソースで作られた、自分専用の AI を自分で育てていく新しい AI sのかたちと言えるでしょう。

README に記載されている通りに実行していけばすぐに完了しますが、注意点を以下に記載しています。
注意点
README に記載されていませんが、LLM をローカルにダウンロードする必要があります。
基本的に “Qwen2.5-XB-Instruct” という形式のモデルなら使えます（例：1.8B, 7Bなど）。ただし Second Me のマシン要件を考えると、0.5B（500Mパラメータ）モデルが一番軽くて無難です。サイズは 1.99 GB です。

3. resources/L2/base_models/Qwen2.5-0.5B-Instruct にダウンロードしたモデルを配置
使い方
make start で起動後、http://localhost:3000 でブラウザにアクセスします。

以下全て英語で記述しましょう。日本語だとまともに応答してくれませんでした…
Step 01: Define Your Identity（自己紹介の登録）
- サイドバーで
「Create Second Me > Define Your Identity」に移動 - 以下を入力します：
- Second Me Name：AIの名前（ニックネームでOK）
- Short Personal Description：自分のことを簡単に紹介（趣味・性格・仕事など）
- Email：連絡先（仮でもOK、AIとの連携で使用）
- 入力できたら、「Save」ボタンをクリック
今回はサム・アルトマン氏のクローンを作成してみます！
Step 02: Upload Your Memory（記憶のアップロード）
- 次に 「Create Second Me > Upload Your Memory」を開きます。
- アップロード方法は3つ：
- Text 入力：ページに直接メモや文章を入力
- ファイル：.txt .md .pdf などをアップロード
- フォルダ：複数ファイルをまとめてアップロード

Step 03: Train Second Me（学習開始）
- 「Create Second Me > Train Second Me」に進みます。
- 「Choose Support Model for Data Synthesis」で OpenAI を選択し、API キーを入力します。
- 「Choose Base Model for Training Second Me」で Qwen2.5-0.5B-Instruct (8GB+ RAM Recommended) を選択します。
注意点
・学習には20分程度かかりました
・Open API キーの使用量は0.05$でした
・Train Log に次のエラーが発生しますが、無視して大丈夫です。
Error reading log file: ‘utf-8’ codec can’t decode byte Oxb7 in position 0: invalid start byte（UTF-8では解読できないバイナリデータや、別のエンコーディングの文字が含まれている）
Step 04: Playground（AIとチャット）
- 「Start Service」をクリック
- サイドバーで「Playground > Chat with Second Me」を選択
- チャット欄に話しかけるだけ！
- 調整できるオプション：
- Memory Retrieval：記憶の呼び出し具合
- Temperature：創造性の度合い（0は堅め、1は自由）
- System Prompt：振る舞いの設定

今回使ったモデルは軽量で、そこまで性能が高いわけではないので、そのあたりも影響していそうです。とはいえ、今後の進化に期待したいです！
